GROW HQ’s  Market Garden within the walled garden at Curraghmore Estate

Our market garden is in a 13-acre walled garden at the Curraghmore Estate, which traditionally was used to supply the estate with fresh vegetables. It was a pioneering small business in its own right as far back as the 1800s, employing nearly 40 gardeners in its heyday.

In partnership with the Curraghmore Estate, we want to bring this beautiful garden back to life, and in the years ahead we will be restoring some of the old garden buildings and running courses in food growing, smallholding and regenerative agriculture there.

We took over in December 2023 and have been working hard to get ready for our weekly veg box subscriptions launching in Summer 2024.
In our beautiful walled market garden we are:

  • Growing vegetables, fruits and herbs
  • Keeping a small flock of hens for eggs
  • Introducing 12 Tamworth piglets who are helping us get the soil ready!
  • Establishing beehives for honey
  • Hatching a plan to restore the beautiful old buildings in the garden

Our new weekly Veg Box subscriptions are available now! From just €25 per week you can eat with the seasons and feed your family with the freshest, most nutritious food, grown by our GROW HQ garden team.
