Larder at GROW HQ

We don’t mean to toot our own horns, but we think GROW HQ is the world’s greatest homegrown food experience. We’re BIG believers in living a healthier, happier, and more sustainable life by growing your own food. In fact we believe in it so much that we just HAD to build GROW HQ, our Waterford based, award-winning zero waste café modelled on a sustainable food system, where our fresh produce is grown in our gardens and prepared in our zero waste kitchen for our customers to enjoy. But that wasn’t enough!

After many… many… many GROW HQ Beetroot Brownies, it hit us! We needed to offer our customers the opportunity to take home a little bit of GROW HQ and the chance to make some of our delicious recipes, which is why we’ve created Larder – a way to do just that…

Ready to reduce, reuse, and refill? Of course you are, who isn’t right?! Our refill shop is the pea-fect way to say au revoir to single use plastic and food waste for good. Not only is it packed full of household essentials, organic products, and delicious HQ ingredients, there’s not a plastic container in sight!

Collect those containers and jars you’ve been squirrelling away in your cupboard, because we’re all about that ZERO PACKAGING life. Refilling closes the loop on plastic waste, reduces your environmental footprint and helps lower carbon emissions – plus it makes you the real dill in our eyes!

Here's how it works

Our Larder is super easy to use, just follow our four steps.

  1. Bring a clean, dry container. Don’t have a jar? Don’t worry you can check out our collection or browse our container library.
  2. Choose from our selection: organic cereals, nuts, seeds, rice, pasta… and more
  3. We weigh your products we’re nice like that
  4. Pay for exactly what you need – no more, no less!
