Step into the Christmas spirit with a beautifully prepared Christmas feast at long tables in a twinkly Grow HQ, where our homegrown and locally ingredients take centre stage and live music gets us in to the spirit of of the season. For this final HQ celebration event of 2026, we are indulging in the rich flavours of delicious winter foods in a warm and welcoming setting; telling the story of the December farm and garden.

Bookings are non-refundable; however, they may be transferred to another course if requested at least 14 days prior to the event date.

GIY For Beginners, With Mick Kelly

I thoroughly enjoyed the day learning all things vegetable growing. It was very well organised and paced, the food at lunch was absolutely delicious! My only minor question is that the lettuce seeds I planted never germinated! I'm wondering if it was just me or if others experienced the same thing? They were sitting in front of a sunny window and kept lightly watered... but nothing after 10 days so I just recycled the compost for other plantings. Since the course I have planted beetroot and purple sprouting broccoli seeds at home, which have both germinated. I've bought a raised bed and top soil so working to put it all together!
