Food Choices Monthly Webinar
📅 Date: Friday 7th October
⏰ Time: 7:30pm
📍 Location: Online, via Zoom
Join GIY Founder Mick Kelly and GIY Head of Education Mary Bishop for a monthly 45-minute conversation exploring how to navigate an increasingly complex world of choices around our food.
From what’s in season and what’s growing around us, to the bigger questions shaping our food systems, we’ll make space each month to explore what’s happening, what it means for us as food consumers, and how we can make choices that feel informed and manageable.
These sessions are open-ended by design. We’ll respond to what’s happening in the world, unpack some of the stories and issues making the headlines, and take your questions to help support you on your own food journey.
In these monthly sessions we'll explore:
- What’s in season and how to make the most of what’s available
- Current affairs and geopolitical issues affecting our food systems
- The stories, trends and changes shaping the way we grow, produce, buy and eat food
- How to make sense of an increasingly complicated food landscape
- Your questions, concerns and experiences — with practical guidance from Mick and Mary
Come with questions, curiosity or simply a desire to better understand where our food comes from and the choices we make around it.
